This week’s Heritage tournament wasn’t originally on my schedule, but there are a bunch of reasons why I’m very happy to be playing this week. I had some nice time off at the house after the Masters and really I’m just itching to play some competitive golf again. And, as is the case I think with a lot of tour players, Hilton Head has long been one of my favourite spots on the PGA Tour. Although I’m still looking for my first win here, this is a tournament where I’ve had a lot of consistency and plenty of low scores over the years. Seven top-10s in 11 starts gives me cause for optimism whenever I tee it up on this lovely golf course. It is a wonderful place to play golf.
