To be honest with you, this year’s Deutsche Bank Championship was a battle pretty much from start to finish. In my first round on Friday I was two-over par after 13 holes, but I managed to salvage something from the day with a birdie on 15 and then I holed my second shot on 17 from about 180 yards for an eagle. That was a nice little bonus! Would have been good to close the day with a birdie on the reachable par-5 18th as well, but hey, to get out of there with a one-under par 70 was a decent result, because I really didn’t play well.
