ArgentinaÂs Emiliano Grillo zoomed into an early share of fourth at the Africa Open Golf Challenge after carding a Saturday 64 at East London Golf Club.
ÂWhen I woke up this morning I knew there were going to be a lot of birdies out there, because there was no wind. IÂve been playing pretty awfully lately, and finally some things are getting better and itÂs working, he said.
The 20-year-old raced through the front nine in 31 strokes, including a run of birdies from the fourth to the seventh.
ÂI had it going for a couple holes and then made some pars on the back nine. You might make birdies later on, but you have to score in the first six or seven holes  thatÂs the key to this golf course, he said.
With plenty of wind predicted for Sunday, Grillo was hopeful that blustery conditions would give him a chance to rein in the leaders.
ÂHopefully there is wind, because IÂm four or five back and I need as much wind as possible, he said.
