Frittelli’s superb run of form started at the Made in Denmark Challenge – Presented by Ejner Hessel, where the 26-year-old carded rounds of 67, 68, 70 and 69 to finish in a share of third place on 10-under-par, just two-strokes off eventual winner Bernd Ritthammer.
Another share of third place at the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana saw Frittelli bank further Road to Oman points and the young South African continued the trend at last weeks Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge finishing in a share of eighth place on 10-under-par.
Thanks to his impressive string of results, Frittelli finds himself 21st on the Road to Oman standings, just 3,682 points adrift 15th spot.
As the Challenge Tour progresses past its halfway point, it looks like Frittelli is hitting a run of form that could see him challenge for a European Tour card – something a top 15 finish on the Road to Oman standings will ensure.
After his tie fourth finish at the Eye of Africa PGA Championship and a second place finish at the Golden Pilsener Zimbabwe Open, Frittelli certainly has taken that form into the Challenge Tour and his showing of three top 10s this season has shown that.
