Georgiou in hunt in PGA Tour Canada Q-School
South Africa’s Andrew Georgiou made sure he’ll bring good vibes into the final round of PGA Tour Canada Q-School, holing his final shot of the day Thursday – a 60-foot putt for birdie at the par-five second on the Legends course that put him in contention with 36-hole leader Jose Toledo before play was called due to darkness.
“That’s going to make dinner taste a lot better tonight,” said Georgiou, who has good friend and former touring professional Christian Ries caddying for him this week. “We’re really having fun out there. I’m looking forward to having a good day tomorrow.”
The third round was suspended due to darkness just after 7:20pm local time, with play to resume at 7:00am Friday morning. Scores will be available following the completion of the third round.
