Lloyd plays himself into Euro Q-School Stage 2

2014 Africa Open: Day 1South African Darryn Lloyd topped the leaderboard after the final round of the European Tour’s First Stage Qualifying event at Collingtree Park in England.

He totalled 11-under-par 277 to head Neil Bradley by one stroke and see himself into the Second Stage events.

South Africa’s Bryce McCabe missed the cut there, while Louis Calitz also missed out in Austria, although he made the cut and was stymied by his final-round 75,

In Austria, Ireland’s Paul Dunne, who led the Open Championship in July, took a share of fifth behind the winner Dodge Kemmer of the United States.

Earlier, Thriston Lawrence missed out in Scotland on September 18, as did Matthiam Keyser in Germany on the same date.

The four second Second Stage events all take place in Spain from November 6-9.
