EVENT: 2013 Sunshine Tour Qualifying School

Bloemfontein Golf Club and Schoeman Park Golf Club will be the venues to host the 2013 Sunshine Tour Qualifying School where current professionals and top amateurs will grind it out for playing privileges next year.
The event will take place over five days beginning on 15 January 2013 whereby the top 30 players and ties after 90 holes of regulation golf will gain their tour cards for the following season with their first chance to start earning coming at the 2013 Joburg Open in early January.
Amateurs wishing to enter the qualifying school must be over the age of 18 at the commencement of the event and must also have a handicap of scratch (0) or better according to the Handicapping Scheme used by the golf authority in the country where they live.
Participants will alternate between the two courses over the first four days playing 36 holes on each. After 72 holes a cut will be made where the top 65 players and ties will play the final 18 holes on the Schoeman Park Golf Club layout.
The top-30 and ties will then receive their playing privileges for 2011 and will be ranked according to their position after 90 holes.
