Stonehage Big Easy 30: Lindani Ndwandwe

A warhorse of the Sunshine Tour, Lindani Ndwandwe is the highest ranked Big Easy player without a win this season. Consecutive second-place finishes In July have formed the backbone of his season, helping to take the Durban Country Club professional to sixth in the Tour Championship ranking.

A two-time winner on the Sunshine Tour, Ndwandwe has been touring 1998 and brings valuable experience to the Big Easy Tour Championship at Ebotse Golf Estate, which starts from the 23rd of October.

The 38-year-old from Greyville has made six cheques in eight starts on the Big Easy Tour this year, but came closest to victory at Big Easy Benoni, where he missed a playoff by one stroke.

At the notorious Big Easy Royal Johannesburg & Kensington he carded 69 for the first round and went on to share second. The tournament plays out over the east course at Royal Joburg, which also hosts the Joburg Open and Intenational Final Qualifying for the Open Championship.

With years of experience and knowledge on his side, Ndwandwe heads to Tour Champs looking to end the year with the win he’s been looking for all season.
