2015 Lion of Africa Cape Town Open: Day 2A stellar amateur career has seen the now 25-year-old Dylan Frittelli claim many honours, the highlight of which was a Callaway World Junior Championship win in 2007.

Since turning pro in 2012, Friittelli won the Big Easy Tour at Roodepoort Country Club in 2013, and has produced a string of other impressive results. These include a second-place finish in the 2013 Telkom PGA Championship, a third-place finish at the 2014 Vodacom Origins of Golf Final, a T10 finish at the 2015 Tshwane Open and an 18th place finish at the 2015 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

He has kept plugging away, and things started looking good for Frittelli towards the end of the 2015 season: He’d started with a top-10 in the Tshwane Open, and he closed the year with a share of 11th in the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

After that, he took advantage of a spot in the Australian PGA Championship in December, and only just missed winning when he was beaten by Nathan Holman in a play-off. Frittelli started 2016 with an 18th place finish at the BMW SA Open.
